The beginning of a new year is always a good time to focus on making new habits and taking "back" your life with lifestyle modification. There is a lot of self-care things that people can do to take "back" control of their lives. Simple stretches, quick changes in diet and emotional balancing techniques. These all work hand-in-hand with Chiropractic because the human body moves better, stays less inflamed and holds adjustments longer. Try calcium rich foods like kale or almonds paired with a fatty fish or a Vitamin D supplement. 

Get up from a seated position once every 30 minutes to stretch arms over head, move your head and legs around to promote healthy circulation to muscles and other important soft tissues. De-stress by deep controlled breathing using the abdomen helps activate the core, which also is the main stabilizer and protector of the low back. All of these steps are easy implementations to start taking BACK your life.
